Utah Landlord-Tenant Relationship Laws
The Utah Code Title 57 governs the relationship between Landlords and Tenants.[1]
Security Deposit Laws
- 30 Days – Landlords must return the deposit within thirty days from the lease end date.[2]
- Itemized Deductions – If any deductions are made from the deposit, an itemized list must be provided to the tenant within 30 days of the lease end date.[3]
