What to include in a Security Deposit Receipt?

  1. Landlord’s Name & Contact Information
  2. Tenant’s Name & Contact Information
  3. Property Address
  4. Deposit Amount Paid
  5. Payment Date
  6. Payment Method (Cash/Check/Bank Transfer)
  7. Receipt Number
  8. Terms & Conditions – Any conditions related to the return of the deposit, deductions, or interest earned.
  9. Signature of Landlord – To confirm and authenticate the receipt.
  10. Signature of Tenant (Optional) – To confirm that the Tenant acknowledges the payment.
