Security Deposits
- Maximum Amount – Landlords can charge Tenants any amount as their are no limits in West Virginia.
- Returning to Tenant – 60 days of the lease end date OR within 45 days of the new tenancy start new start (whichever is shorter).

Landlord Access to Rental Property
General Access – Landlords should provide prior notice before entering the premises as per state law of least 24 hours notice to the Tenants although there are no state laws governing Landlord access notices to Tenants.
