Minimum Termination Notice Period

  • Seven (7) days notice for month-to-month tenancy [1]

Increasing Rent Notice

North Carolina does not have specific laws requiring landlords to give notice before raising rent. However, it is recommended that landlords give tenants at least 30 days’ notice before increasing the rent.
