Security Deposit Requirements
- Maximum Amount – One (1) month’s rent as the max deposit amount allowed for Landlords to request from Tenants.
- Returns – Thirty (30) days from the lease end date.
- Depositing – Failure to comply with MA procedural deposit requirements may result in penalties up to three times the amount of the security deposit, and a 5% penalty, and cover all of the Tenant’s legal fees.

Late Rent Fees
Maximum Penalty – No max. limit.
