Termination Notices:

- Within NYC: Notice depends on how long the tenant has lived there:
- Less than 1 year: 30 days
- 1-2 years: 60 days
- 2+ years: 90 days [2]
Rent Increases:
If the rent increases by 5% or more, the notice period is the same as the termination periods above. [3]
