A Florida bill of sale for car is a document that transfers ownership of motor vehicles from a seller to a buyer. Both parties must sign it the bill of car form and it can be used for the state registration.

This Florida Motor Vehicle (car) Bill of Sale is used when transferring the ownership of a vehicle (car) from one party to another. Must include the Odometer Disclosure Statement Form. A vehicle must have valid registration to operate on Florida roads. Vehicles with out-of-state registrations must be registered within ten (10) days of the owner’s employment, placement of children in public school, or establishment of residency.

Florida Vehicle Registration Requirements

Metal Plates: A metal plate with a number that matches the number on the registration and decal attached to the vehicle in the designated area as per Section 320.38 of the Florida Statutes.
Registration Certificate: The motor vehicle operator must possess the registration certificate or carry it in the vehicle at all times as per Section 320.0605.
Registration Decal: A registration decal is a sticker on the registration certificate and should be attached in the corner of the Florida license plate.
